For the international show of the automotive industry in Moscow, which started at the end of August 2016, AvtoVAZ has prepared a whole scattering of new products, including a luxurious modification of the Lada Vesta sedan called "Exclusive".
The car fully justified its "high rank" not only with original solutions in the exterior and interior, but also with a powerful engine in the engine compartment ... but it took a long time to get to the "counters" - accepting orders for it in Lada dealerships started only 29 August 2017.
It will not be difficult to recognize Lada Vesta Exclusive against the background of a standard "brother" - the distinctive features of the "rich" four-door are: chrome body decor, original door sills, a spoiler on the trunk lid, 17-inch wheel rims of a unique design, as well as a special nameplate with the name version.
In addition, the paint color "Carthage" (beige metallic) was specially developed for this modification.
In terms of external dimensions, the "exclusive" Lada Vesta repeats the basic model: 4410 mm in length, 1497 mm in height and 1764 mm in width. The wheelsets of the car are 2635 mm apart from each other, and the clearance under its "belly" is 178 mm.
Inside, the luxurious performance of "Vesta" "flaunts": upholstered in eco-leather (black or beige) and Alcantara seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, metal pedals and glossy black decor on the interior elements.
Otherwise, the car does not differ from a regular sedan - a beautiful and modern design, pleasant finishing materials, sufficient space for five people and a luggage compartment with a volume of 480 liters.
Specifications. The engine compartment of Lada Vesta Exclusive is occupied by an atmospheric VAZ-21179 1.8-liter (1774 cubic centimeters) gasoline engine that meets Euro-5 environmental requirements and is equipped with a 16-valve DOHC timing belt, an electronic variable valve timing (VVT) system and distributed injection. Its potential is 122 horsepower at 6050 rpm and 170 N • m of torque limit at 3750 rpm.
This motor is paired with a 5-speed "mechanics" or 5-speed "robot" (created in collaboration with the German concern ZF) and a front-wheel drive transmission.
If we talk about the dynamic characteristics of the four-door, then its "maximum speed" is 188-186 km / h, and acceleration to "hundreds" will take about 10-12 seconds (respectively for "mechanics" and "robot"). And the fuel consumption in the "combined cycle", according to the manufacturer, will be 7.8-7.2 liters per 100 kilometers.
Structurally, the "exclusive" modification of Vesta copies its standard "brother": the car uses a front-wheel drive platform "Lada B" with an independent MacPherson-type chassis in front and a semi-independent system with a torsion beam at the rear.
The sedan is equipped with a rack and pinion steering gear with electric booster and a brake complex with ventilated front discs and drum rear mechanisms (ABS and EBD are also available).
Options and prices. As already noted, sales of the Lada Vesta Exclusive sedan started on August 29, 2017. The cost of the car starts at 763,400 rubles - with the "mechanics", and for the "robot" you will have to pay 25 thousand rubles.
In terms of equipment, the "Exclusive" version is based on the "Luxe" package with the "Multimedia" package, i.e. there are immediately available such "luxury" as: climate control, heated windshield, rear view camera, multimedia system with navigation ... and, of course, as in all other versions of LADA Vesta, there are: central locking with remote control, steering wheel adjustment for height and reach, daytime running lights, electric drive and electric heating of outside mirrors, heated front seats, emergency alert system ERA-GLONASS, two airbags, ESC stability control system (which includes ABS, brake force distribution system, assistance system when starting on an uphill and anti-skip function).
