At the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, Ford unveiled the Vignale concept car, the forerunner of the Focus CC coupe / convertible. At the beginning of 2006, the car went on sale, and in 2008, as part of the introduction of "kinetic design", it underwent an update along with other models of the family, after which it was produced until 2011.

The design of the Ford Focus Coupe-Cabriolet was aided by the craftsmen from the Pininfarina studio, although the front of the car is completely copied from the "face" of the three-volume.

With the top retracted, the car looks harmonious and elegant, but if you raise the hard roof, the "sirloin" becomes too massive, depriving the body of proportionality.

Most clearly from the usual "Focus" it differs in a swift silhouette and stern with large LED lights and a neat bumper with a plastic lining at the bottom.

"Focus" in the solution of the coupe-convertible is extended in length by 4509 mm, and its width and height are respectively 1834 mm and 1456 mm. But the removal of the axles and ground clearance do not differ from those on the sedan. The curb weight of the car varies from 1413 to 1465 kg, and its peak weight is almost two tons.

Inside the two-door Ford Focus - almost like in the usual "Focus", with the exception of finishing materials: there is more metallized plastic and there are leather inserts in the doors. In all other respects, full parity - attractive design, well-thought-out ergonomics and high-quality assembly.

The front seats of the coupe-convertible have an excellent shape and optimal adjustment ranges, and they are mounted 20 mm lower than in the three-volume. The back of the car is cramped, like other similar representatives of the "golf" class: if there is a margin of space in width for two passengers, then the knees rest on the backs of the seats, and a limited amount of space remains above the head.

The trunk of a Ford Focus CC holds 534 liters - this figure is not always found on D-class sedans! However, if converted into a convertible, the useful volume is reduced to 248 liters. A repair kit is hidden in the underground near the car, not even a "stowaway" is offered.

Specifications. For "Focus" in the coupe-convertible body, two gasoline engines were offered: a 1.6-liter, pulsating 100 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque, and a 2.0-liter, the output of which has 145 "horses" and 190 Nm of peak thrust.
A bundle with the first is formed by a 5-speed "mechanics", which provides the car with acceleration up to 100 km / h in 13.6 seconds and up to 182 km / h top speed, while the average consumption is limited to 7.1 liters in mixed mode.
For the second, a 4-band "automatic" is also available, as a result, it takes 10.3-10.7 seconds to set the first hundred, the "maximum" is fixed at 195-208 km / h, and the average fuel consumption is 7.5-8 liters.

The suspension design on the two-door Ford Focus is similar to that of the sedan of the same name, with the exception of stiffer shock absorbers, stabilizers and silent blocks. The steering is supplemented by an electro-hydraulic booster, and disc brakes are used on each of the wheels (ventilated at the front).

Price. The Focus coupe-cabriolet is a very rare "guest" in the Russian open spaces. In the secondary market, it is possible to become the owner of such a car in 2015 for 500,000 ~ 700,000 rubles, depending on its current state.
