The BMW 4-Series is a rear- or four-wheel drive premium mid-size car (aka "D-class" by European standards), which is available in several body versions: a two-door coupe and a two-door convertible with a folding soft top. The main target audience of the Quartet is young, well-off and unencumbered people who know what they want from life ...

In conceptual form, the two-door was first shown to the general public in the fall of 2019 at the International Frankfurt Motor Show ...

The second-generation serial coupe with the in-house marking "G22" was presented in June 2020 during an online presentation, while the convertible ("G23") debuted in September of the same year, again in a virtual format.

Outwardly, the “second” BMW 4-Series looks attractive, modern and defiant (and regardless of the body type) - a predatory front end with an aggressive look of headlights, huge vertical “nostrils” of the radiator grille and a sculpted bumper, a swift silhouette with a long hood, muscular “hips” ”And large wheel arches, sporty downed stern with graceful lanterns and a pair of trapezoidal exhaust pipes.

Size and weight

The length of the "four" of the second generation is 4768 mm, width - 1852 mm, height - 1383-1384 mm. The wheelbase of the two-door is 2851 mm, and its ground clearance is 124-130 mm.

When equipped, the car weighs from 1525 to 1890 kg, depending on the modification.

The salon at the two-door is strictly four-seater, and regardless of the bodywork. In front there are seats with a pronounced side profile, a large number of adjustments and all the "blessings of civilization".

In the back of the "apartment" there is a sofa molded for two people with a folding armrest in the center and a decent amount of free space.

The coupe boasts a 440-liter luggage compartment, the volume of which can be increased due to the convertible backrest "gallery", divided into three sections in the ratio "40:20:40".

The convertible has a more modest "hold" capacity: with the roof retracted, it is able to take on board 300 liters of luggage, and with a raised one - 385 liters.
